It's a Girl!
Rebecca is now about 21 weeks pregnant, and doing well. The big news is that we learned last Tuesday that Caedmon is going to have a little sister! The ultrasound technician said it was very clear from the ultrasound that our new baby is a girl! We are very excited by the news and looking forward to a whole new baby experience...this time with pink clothes, decorations, etc. See below for some pictures of our little sweetie. We have decided on her name, but as with Caedmon, it will remain "classified" until February when she arrives:)
Also below are some recent pictures of our little buddy including before and afters of his first haircut and some of our recent trip to upstate NY for his cousin Simeon's first birthday!

Caedmon Turns One and a New Baby Has Begun!
After more than six months, we are finally updating our blog! It's so hard to believe that Caedmon is now one year old! He is such a wonderfully smart, cute, determined, and loving little boy, and we're so very blessed to be his parents. He has started to take some steps on his own, and we expect he'll be walking all over in no time. He now says Ma-ma, Da-da, and even Mommy, which sounds more like "Muuuummmmyyyyy":) Below are some pictures from his first birthday party this past weekend.
We're also getting excited about the impending arrival of Caedmon's baby brother or sister! Rebecca is now a little more than 14 weeks pregnant with Baby Sethupathy #2 who is due February 15th. We're looking forward to finding out the gender in another six weeks or so. We'll be sure to post the ultrasound pics when we get them! Unfortunately, there are no birth centers in our area, but we have found a small midwife practice that works in conjunction with a nearby hospital. We weren't too thrilled about having to deliver in a hospital, but it seems that the private suites with jacuzzis and with the midwives in charge, things will hopefully be as similar to our previous birth center experience as is possible.
